Cassandra Li is an Illustrator and Designer based in Brooklyn, originally from Maine. Her creative journey began fairly recent after moving to the city where she went on to receive her MFA in Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

For the past three years, she has created illustrations and designs for fashion retailers, restaurants, and in home goods packaging. She is currently working on her picture book Lobster Kingdom now on display at the FIT Museum as part of her MFA Visual Thesis. 

In her work, she draws a world between real-life and imagination often choosing broad narratives that invite personal interpretations. Through her stories, she hopes to encourage others to reflect more on the world around them, and on themselves.
