Veruca Salt and the Golden Egg - “I Want it Now”

One of my favorite scenes from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971), where Veruca and her father try to buy a golden-egg from Willy Wonka. After being told no, Veruca goes on a tirade breaking into song, “I Want it Now”, trashing the room where the Oompa Loompas were at work. She is ultimately dropped down into the chute after climbing onto the Eggdicator and being rejected as a “bad egg”.
